He chronicles his finds from small towns across the country in his YouTube channel, Auto Archaeology, and among his recent discoveries is one of the most sought-after muscle cars of all time. That’s right — a 1970 Hemi ’Cuda four-speed in the very desirable In Violet metallic.

(January 7, 2023) The legendary 1970 Dodge Hemi Challenger R/T SE, known as the “Black Ghost” in the Detroit street racing scene of the 1970s, was unveiled Friday at Mecum Kissimmee 2023 as the headlining consignment for Dana Mecum’s 36th Original Spring Classic, which will be held May 12-20 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis.

Included in the docket of star car re-creations is the world's only turbine-powered Batmobile re-creation based on the 1989 Batman film, a Ford Galaxie re-creation driven in the film “Fast Five” and a re-creation of the 1930 Pontiac “Munster Koach.”

Slated for a Jan. 4-15 return to Osceola Heritage Park, Mecum Kissimmee 2023 has officially reached that goal with the consignment of its 4,000th vehicle — a 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 Fastback.
