(March 7, 2022) LOS ANGELES — Located just down the street from Hollywood’s most iconic production studios, the Petersen Automotive Museum is set to present a new collection of some of the most famous vehicles ever to appear in film and television. Opening to the public on March 12 in the Omaze Hollywood Gallery, located on The Otis Booth History Floor, the exhibit will include a diverse selection of cars, motorcycles and custom creations that have starred in popular movies and television series throughout the decades.

(March 4, 2022) DIAMOND BAR, Calif.  — The wait is over. Small volume motor vehicle manufacturers may begin selling replica cars that resemble vehicles produced at least 25 years ago now that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has finalized a regulation to implement the SEMA-led Low Volume Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Act. SEMA worked with Congress to pass this federal policy change, which became law in 2015 as part of the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act.

Instead, the earliest progenitor bore a VW emblem on its hood.

(February 4, 2022) DEARBORN, Mich. — On Feb. 4, 1922, Henry Ford, with encouragement from his wife Clara and his son Edsel Ford, purchased The Lincoln Motor Company from distinguished inventor and automotive engineer Henry Leland for $8 million. The transaction set in motion the creation of an iconic American luxury brand.
