Mullin Automotive Museum to reopen weekends beginning Nov. 6

(October 20, 2020) LOS ANGELES — The Mullin Automotive Museum will reopen to the public on Friday, Nov. 6,  establishing a new schedule of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday through Sunday. Fans of the museum and new visitors will see Concours “Best of Show” winners such as the 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic, 1938 Hispano-Suiza Dubonnet H6B “Xenia,” and the 1937 Talbot-Lago T150-C-SS Goutte d’Eau; as well as crowd favorites such as the 1994 Bugatti EB 110 Supersport “Le Mans” and the world’s most extensive collection of Bugatti artwork, sculpture, and furniture.

Among those crossing the block is a modern warrior, a 4-wheel-drive 2020 Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition Rubicon powered by an 850-horsepower Demon Challenger engine with only 10 actual miles. For classic Resto-Mod enthusiasts, Barrett-Jackson is also offering a 1967 Chevrolet C10, which features a custom chassis, leather interior and remote hidden tailgate.

(October 11, 2020) SANT' AGATA BOLOGNESE, Italy — This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Lamborghini Urraco, unveiled at the Turin Motor Show in late October 1970. The model immediately stood out for having introduced technical solutions that were innovative for the time, thanks to the contribution of engineer Paolo Stanzani, the technical father of the Urraco and Lamborghini’s chief technical officer at the time. The styling of the project was entrusted to renowned designer Marcello Gandini, who in that period was principal designer for Carrozzeria Bertone.

(September 28, 2020) ATLANTA — It was autumn 1950 when a fateful meeting between Professor Ferdinand Porsche and Max Hoffman led to the decision that a fledgling German automotive manufacturer from humble beginnings would begin exporting its sports cars to America. The result was the creation of a bond stronger than anybody could have imagined, and this year, Porsche is celebrating the 70th anniversary of its arrival into the American market.


The first Porsche sports car received its certification for road use in Germany on June 8, 1948, meaning the history between the brand and the U.S. goes back almost to the very beginning. The young sports car company caught the eye of a visionary New York-based salesman. 



Ringbothers completes and delivers 1971 Chevy K5 Blazer

(September 28, 2020) SPRING GREEN, Wis. — Custom car builder and parts manufacturer Ringbrothers recently completed and delivered a 1971 Chevrolet K5 Blazer commissioned by hip-hop superstar Future. The Blazer features a 6.2-liter LS3 engine that produces 430 horsepower and is mated to a 4L80-E transmission. A custom BASF British Racing Green paint scheme is atop a body refinished with 3M products, while gold 18-inch HRE wheels complete the look.
