(November 18, 2013) It's a house! No, it's a car! Actually it's both a house and a car. It's an historic 1925 Chevrolet House Car, and one of 225 vehicles that General Motors put up for auction from its collection in January 2009.

The house car brought $123,200 at a Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, Ariz.

(November 16, 2013) LOS ANGELES — A Facebook survey from Total Car Score found that the Aston Martin DB5 from the 1964 James Bond film Goldfinger is the favorite Bond car of all time. In a Facebook poll of more than 900 participants from across the United States taken in October 2012, people selected the Aston Martin DB5 from a list of 10 classic and modern Bond cars that span the franchise's history, from 1962's Dr. No to 2008's Quantum of Solace.

(November 14, 2013) Vintage Adventurer Rod Wade is making a second attempt on setting a new world record for driving a pre-war car from New York to California against the clock. Australian Rod and his co-driver Michael Flanders will make a second attempt on the 2,947mile journey in their 1930 Ford Model A, departing Staten Island at1 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 22 with the aim of reaching Venice Fishing Pier in under 60 hours, giving an estimated arrival time of the morning of Sunday, Nov. 24.

(November 12, 2013) LONDON — The world’s first stretched E-Type has been unveiled and will go on show in London later this week at a major automotive awards ceremony. Built in 1968, the left hand drive Jaguar E-Type series 1 4.2 roadster has been stretched by four and a half inches during a major restoration carried out by Classic Motor Cars Limited of Bridgnorth (CMC).

(November 7, 2013) DEARBORN, Mich. — In February 1970, Ford kicked off a new decade at the Chicago Auto Show with a wild-looking Mustang concept car that previewed some of the design direction for the upcoming 1971 models. The exceptionally low-slung, two-seat Mustang Milano took inspiration from the grand touring cars that regularly prowled the roads around the northern Italian city that gave the car its name.
