(February 24, 2014) CERNOBBIO, Italy — The Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2014 will be staged on the weekend of May 23-25 over the grounds of the Grand Hotel Villa d’Este and neighboring Villa Erba on Lake Como in Cernobbio, Italy. The 2014 edition will again see an intimate selection of 50 historic automobiles displayed against the incomparable backdrop of Lake Como.

(February 20, 2014) DETROIT — The National Automotive History Collection (NAHC) has selected the Chrysler Group's SRT Viper as its "Collectible Car of the Future."

NAHC members vote annually to name the "Collectible Car of the Future" from North American-built vehicles launched during the previous calendar year. The SRT Viper was selected from 19 all-new vehicles introduced in 2013.

(February 19, 2014) MODENA, Italy — The new Enzo Ferrari Museum (EFM) was opened Feb. 18 in Modena by Luca di Montezemolo and Piero Ferrari, the son of the man who started off the amazing story of a marque recognized today as the strongest in the world.

The choice of Feb. 18 for the reopening of the MEF was in recognition of the anniversary of Enzo Ferrari’s birth on Feb. 18, 1898.

(February 13, 2014) In 1953, Packard reintroduced the Cliipper name after a five year absence on its entry-level car replacing the Packard 200 in the hopes of increasing sales with a "more affordable" Packard. The Clipper was available in Special and Deluxe trim models and two-door and four-door sedans.

(February 13, 2014) This Toyota Coaster may look like the minibus that was first introduced back in 1969, but in fact it the paint is barely dry.

A team of Toyota technicians scoured old storehouses and even scavenged scrap metal from around Japan to build this bus. Rusted panels were polished up and damaged parts were reproduced from original drawings to re-make this Coaster prototype.

(February 8, 2014) CHICAGO — On Feb. 9, 1989, the world was introduced to the all-new Mazda MX-5 Miata at the Chicago Auto Show. A few months later, it was named as one of the five "World's Best Cars" by Road & Track and never looked back.

(February 4, 2014) Graeme Thickins of Bloomington, Minn., was owner of a rare 1937 Ford House Car for a short time before he sold it in California at the Wavecrest 2001 Woodie Show.

Thickins took possession of the truck after it had been stored for years in a garage in Minnesota. Reportedly only about six a year were built in the mid '30s.
