50 iconic Porsches on display at Petersen Automotive Museum

(February 7, 2018) LOS ANGELES — Celebrating the worldwide impact of Porsche’s legendary machines, the Petersen Automotive Museum officially opened “The Porsche Effect” to the public on Feb. 3. Organized in partnership with Porsche Cars North America, the new display features 50 of the brand’s most iconic cars presented in both the exhibition and in an all-new vault tour in the museum’s underground treasury.

Mullin Museum expands Citroen exhibit with new vehicles

(January 23, 2018) OXNARD, Calif. — The Mullin Automotive Museum has expanded its internationally acclaimed Citroën exhibit with the addition of three vehicles from the French automaker: a 1931 C4G, a 1975 CX2200 Berline, and a 1971 SM Bonneville Racecar. The cars represent the newest component of the museum’s “Citroën: The Man, The Marque, The Mystique” exhibit, which celebrates the quirky yet wildly innovative manufacturer.

Ferrari Museum expands with two new exhibitions

America's Car Museum and NAIAS announce heritage run

(August 25, 2016) America’s Car Museum (ACM) and the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) have announced that Boston will be the starting point of “The Drive Home II: The Heritage Run” — an 11-day, 2,150 mile winter road rally, from Dec. 28 to Jan. 7, concluding at the opening of the North American International Auto Show.

History revisited: Walter P. Chrysler Museum reopens

(May 18, 2016) AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — “The grille on the 1934 Chrysler Airflow is beautiful to look at, but it sure does rip up my California Car Duster,” said Jim Harp. Harp has been volunteering at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum for seven years. Part of his responsibilities include dusting the more than 60 classic cars housed inside the museum’s historical halls. However, Harp doesn’t just dust; he waxes poetically about the history of the vehicles inside.
