(March 7, 2022) LOS ANGELES — Located just down the street from Hollywood’s most iconic production studios, the Petersen Automotive Museum is set to present a new collection of some of the most famous vehicles ever to appear in film and television. Opening to the public on March 12 in the Omaze Hollywood Gallery, located on The Otis Booth History Floor, the exhibit will include a diverse selection of cars, motorcycles and custom creations that have starred in popular movies and television series throughout the decades.

Small volume motor vehicle manufacturers may begin selling replica cars that resemble vehicles produced at least 25 years ago now that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has finalized a regulation to implement the SEMA-led Low Volume Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Act. SEMA worked with Congress to pass this federal policy change, which became law in 2015 as part of the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act.

(January 17, 2022) SPRING GREEN, Wis. — Ringbrothers, a custom car builder and parts manufacturer, has unveiled its latest creation — a custom 1969 Dodge Charger known as “CAPTIV.” The Charger makes an impressive yet “streetable” 707 horsepower from its Mopar Hellcat crate engine mated to a Tremec six-speed manual transmission. The build was completed for New Zealand-based motorsports legend and TV personality Greg Murphy.
