Featuring the world's first Godzilla 7.3L engine with a Harrop USA Supercharger delivering over 1,000 horsepower, this 1972 Ford F350 4x4 Sport Crew Cab was commissioned by an enthusiast who challenged Gateway Bronco to handcraft the truck with the same quality and craftsmanship as the company’s legendary Bronco builds.

(October 28, 2021) The first Pep Auto Supplies store was opened in Philadelphia, PA, by four friends in 1921. Meeting with success, that first store became a spring board for 40 other outlets in the Philly area. In 1923 the name was changed to “The Pep Boys – Manny, Moe, and Jack.”

(October 22, 2021) LONDON — Hagerty is a partner of the 2020 RM Sotheby’s London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, taking place on Sunday Nov. 7,  and Hagerty will take part in the famous event in its 1-cylinder 1903 Knox, a regular participant in the event. The London to Brighton Veteran Car Run is the world's longest-running motoring event, the first run taking place in 1896 to celebrate the Locomotives on Highways Act 1896, which liberalized motor vehicle laws in the United Kingdom. Today, participating cars must have been built before 1905.

(October 21, 2021) DETROIT – Chevrolet Performance has introduced the ZZ632/1000 crate engine — the largest and most powerful crate engine in the brand’s history. The naturally aspirated 632-cubic-inch V-8 produces 1,004 horsepower and 876 lb-ft of torque.

(October  20, 2021) An incredibly rare 2005 Renault Clio V6 showing only 980 miles from new is set to break auction world records for the mid-engined hot hatch when it goes under the hammer this week. Bidding is underway and ends at 2:20 p.m. on Oct. 27.

(October 15, 2021) WALWORTH, Wis. — Mecum Auctions kicked off its October Takeover on a strong note this past weekend in Las Vegas, with the annual auction event finding continued success and total overall sales that reached $22.3 million. With 590 vehicles crossing the block Oct. 7-9 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, the auction saw high-quality offerings lead to active bidding both on-site and online, resulting in 508 vehicles hammering sold for a strong 86% sell-through rate.

(October 11, 2021) Located in Detroit, Michigan, is an old rusted 1953 Chrysler New Yorker cab that’s still in service  —  yet only for scheduled tours to explore the motor city. Sykes, the owner of the classic Chrysler and Vintage Taxi Tours, has always had a passion for Detroit history as a car-enthusiast who has owned 20 pre-1980 classics from ‘20’s sedans to ‘60’s Chrysler muscle cars.

By removing sections of the exterior and interior, car buyers can get a fascinating look at the engineering and makeup of a vehicle. The “show quality” preparation of all parts, components, finishes, and extra bright work could dazzle prospective purchasers.

(October 7, 2021) BRISTOL, Tenn. — George Linke grew up around car racing and tinkering on vehicles with his family. During the pandemic, Juliana, 7, expressed interest in helping her dad with home projects from painting to building a backyard deck. Keen on feeding her curiosity, Linke allowed her to watch, learn and participate where she could. Eager to give her more hands-on experience, Linke got an idea to start a new project together — restoring a car.
