(March 19, 2019) AMELIA ISLAND, Fla. — Gooding & Company realized $22,047,980 in a single day at the company’s 10th annual Amelia Island Auction, held on March 8, including three of the top 10 sales across all auction houses. The most anticipated and talked-about event of the week continued to impress, as President David Gooding and auctioneer Charlie Ross sold 78 of 89 lots for an exceptional 88% sales rate, resulting in an average price of $282,666 per car sold.
