BookAclassic heads to the U.S. with launch at Monterey Car Week

(August 15, 2016) BookAclassic, a new concept in vintage cars, is set to launch in the U.S. this month, making classic vehicles available for hire by motor enthusiasts in the States. This online booking portal, which is successfully operational in 14 countries, will launch in the U.S. at the Monterey Car Week, one of California’s most popular motoring events.

Founder Claus Stig Christensen will unveil the concept at the internationally-renowned car celebration, and will be embarking on a tour of the U.S.’ most prominent cities to introduce more vintage car lovers to BookAclassic.

Christensen, founder of BookAclassic, says, “After successfully launching in many countries across Europe, we decided it was time to take BookAclassic Stateside. The U.S. has given the world so many wonderful classic cars, and it’s home to some serious vintage vehicle enthusiasts, so we’re very excited to bring this innovative concept ‘across the pond’.”

Christensen adds, “Monterey Car Week is one of the world’s most famous motoring events, with races, auctions and car displays throughout. We can’t wait to introduce our booking portal to those attending the event, and hopefully sign up some fantastic US-based vintage cars to our vast database!”

BookAclassic offers a straightforward booking platform for those seeking vintage cars. Users can book the car of their dreams for weddings, film productions, corporate events, fairs, museums and other special occasions, adding some serious wow-factor when it’s needed most.

From sleek and show-stopping Ferraris to beautiful heritage Bentleys from the 1920s, there’s something for everyone in the vast database, which is cumulatively worth more than $195 million.

Vintage car owners are also able to add their own vehicles to the database, making them available for other users to hire. This offers a fantastic way for vehicle owners to make money from their stylish investment, as well as letting others appreciate their beautiful vehicle. Owners can stay with their cars all day, and can even double up as chauffeurs, to ensure that their vehicle is treated with the respect it deserves.

With meetings in San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles, Christensen will start to lay the groundwork for the launch of BookAclassic in the U.S., generating buzz among car collectors, car clubs and others who share a passion for vintage cars.
