This Chevrolet Panel Van found in retirement in Durango, Col., is one of the post-war Advance Design Chevrolets built from 1947 through 1953 with very little exterior design changes. The panel trucks were built at four assembly plants in Baltimore; Janesville, Wis.; Atlanta, Ga.; and Oakland, Calif. They came with one of three available inline 6-cylinder engines and a 3/4 speed manual transmission. (Photo by Jim Prueter)
