(December 4, 2013) MIAMI, Florida — The Miami Auto Museum at the Dezer Collection has created a special exhibition to share their latest acquisition. Nearly 50 classic cars were obtained from a private collector and are now on public display.

(November 27, 2013) American life revolved around the automobile in the 1950s, much like today. But in those days, the cars were virtually all American made. The SUV had not yet been invented. The minivan was still just an idea in the heads of such automotive folks as Lee Iacocca. If people needed room for passengers, cargo and the family dog, they bought a station wagon. Or perhaps a full-sized van or a Chevrolet Suburban. Fins were in and styling changed from year-to-year.

(November 23, 2013) LONDON — One of the oldest Mercedes-Benz in the world, a 1905 Simplex 28/32 HPs Phaeton, is to be auctioned by Coys at their True Greats sale on Dec. 3. It's the first time this car has been sold by auction in its almost 110 year history

This Mercedes is one of the oldest surviving examples of the marquee in the world today that is still complete and roadworthy, and was for many years in the famous Mercedes-Benz collection of Arturo Keller in Napa, Calif.

(November 22, 2013) DEARBORN, Mich. — The celebration of 50 years of Ford Mustang will be so large Ford Motor Company and the Mustang Club of America plan to simultaneously hold it at two locations from April 16 through April 20, 2014. Open to everyone, not just Mustang owners and MCA members, the event will be held at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C., and at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas.

(November 18, 2013) It's a house! No, it's a car! Actually it's both a house and a car. It's an historic 1925 Chevrolet House Car, and one of 225 vehicles that General Motors put up for auction from its collection in January 2009.

The house car brought $123,200 at a Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, Ariz.

(November 16, 2013) LOS ANGELES — A Facebook survey from Total Car Score found that the Aston Martin DB5 from the 1964 James Bond film Goldfinger is the favorite Bond car of all time. In a Facebook poll of more than 900 participants from across the United States taken in October 2012, people selected the Aston Martin DB5 from a list of 10 classic and modern Bond cars that span the franchise's history, from 1962's Dr. No to 2008's Quantum of Solace.

(November 14, 2013) Vintage Adventurer Rod Wade is making a second attempt on setting a new world record for driving a pre-war car from New York to California against the clock. Australian Rod and his co-driver Michael Flanders will make a second attempt on the 2,947mile journey in their 1930 Ford Model A, departing Staten Island at1 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 22 with the aim of reaching Venice Fishing Pier in under 60 hours, giving an estimated arrival time of the morning of Sunday, Nov. 24.
