Eclectic mix of cars expected at Future Collector Car Show

(January 9, 2020) PHOENIX — The 5th annual Future Collector Car Show, presented by ClassicCars.com, will host automobiles of all makes, models and years on Jan. 12 beginning at 12 p.m. The family friendly event marks the beginning of Arizona Auction Week.

The show will feature everything from American muscle to Japanese imports and European sedans. Highlights from each class include a classic 1970 Plymouth Cuda, a modified 2015 BMW M3 and a unique 1993 Subaru Sambar. Each of these cars represents the future of the car collecting hobby.

“We’re excited to welcome such a diverse field of amazing cars to High Street this year,” said Tom Stahler, managing editor of the ClassicCars.com Journal. “Cars from every walk of life will be in attendance. It really is a great way to celebrate the occasion and bring all types of automotive communities together.”

Among other cars in attendance will be a one of a kind 2016 widebody Chevrolet Camaro that was featured at The SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Other special displays include awards for categories such as Best of Show, Best Modified Vehicle (first through third place), Best Preserved, Best Restored, Rookie of the Year (for vehicle owners from 16-25 years old) and Fan Favorite.

The Students’ Choice Award is sponsored by Universal Technical Institute and presented by the students of the Avondale campus and the Best Trunk award is sponsored by Slime. The event will support local business and charities.
